Our school / home communication is good. We achieve this in various ways -
- Each child has a drawer in their classroom. As well as their artwork / other pieces of interest they may choose to put in them, the staff also add letters for parents / carers.
- ParentMail. This is a telephone / email system which we use to contact parents / carers with news, information, reminders, alerts, closure dates, etc.
- Newsletters every half term advise parents / carers about up and coming events, term dates, staff news, current activities, menus, etc.
- Situated in our Reception area is an information station - a plasma screen which a running overview of items which are happening in the school at the current time, e.g. birthdays, Charity or fundraising events, deadlines for book or plant sales, school fayre, staff news, etc. Unfortunately this is currently out of order (December 2016).
