Learning at Home - Remote Learning

We want to inspire you to make learning at home fun for your child without costing you too much money. This is why we are helping to make learning at home exciting with objects you may have around the house or can collect from your environment.

We have developed various learning ideas and activities for parents based on each of the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.  These will help to extend your child's learning experience whether at home or at nursery.

There is more information about the EYFS curriculum under the Curriculum page in the Key Information tab.

The seven areas of the EYFS are:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematical Development
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

There are examples of activities to do at home under each of these headings in the Learning at Home menu.
